Description
A mystery box with a hatch marked surface and a circular opening on the top with a swivel closure. In green paint decorated with a yellow square on three sides with the front having a red/green circle at the centre along with the two red hearts and four diamonds. Purchased as a ballot box but possibly for other purposes. Coldwater, Ontario, circa 1900.
Condition
Good strong paint colours with swivel lid. Possibly for keeping birds. Heart and diamond motifs decorate the front and 2 sides, the back is plain with green paint.
