Description
A fine example of a work horse carving by David Horst (1873-1965), Waterloo County, with his typical spot decorated shaped base. Carved in one piece with the horse in natural surface and having painted eyes, nostrils, mouth and hooves. Horst was an itinerant carver in Waterloo County, Ontario.
Condition
Chips to both ears. Paint colour is strong.
