Description
A Wilno storage chest with a classic scrolled base and three-panel front decorated with tulip motifs. An old later varnish has been carefully removed from the panels to reveal the floral design on a pale cream background. Dovetailed case with the original covered till inside. Good condition: one breadboard end on the top is replaced, the colour on the top has been refreshed and the lock is missing. 3rd quarter 19th century. Some markings on the inner lid.
Condition
Very good condition. Excellent paint on the flowered decoration. Top appears to have been repainted.
