Description
A large sailor's valentine with excellent composition having a heart surmounted by a rose and fan on the left side and "Ever Thine" at the centre of an eight-pointed star on the right. The octagonal wooden case is in very good condition and original surface, however, the glass is cracked on the right side and there are some loose shells inside. Good colours. 19th century. A pencil inscription on the top "Miss McKenzie".
Condition
Good, crack in the glass of the right side. Multiple loose shells particularly on the right side. No key present.
