Description
A pine trinket box from Leeds County in original dark green paint with a painted black heart "escutcheon" faintly visible on the front. The top and base both have a beveled edge. The interior is fitted with a small till and original brass hinges. Leeds County Ontario, mid 19th century. Ex Paul Fritz collection. Unmarked.
Condition
Very good condition with minor edge wear.
