Lower Prospect, Nova Scotia. 2009. Brightly painted alluring Atlantic Ocean cove scene of Lower Prospect, Nova Scotia by Charlie Norris (1929 - 2013), brother of legendary Nova Scotia folk artist, Joe Norris, featuring a returning fishing trawler in the background. Four colourful houses in the foreground. Two delightfully oversized seagulls and a large loon also in the foreground. In a white painted wooden frame with burgundy triangles painted into each corner of the frame which add a dramatic presentation to the painting. Signed, "C. Norris Nov. 18. 2009", lower right. Stamped on reverse, "Charles Norris 2070 Lower Prospect Halifax, Nova Scotia", lower right.
Condition
Excellent condition. Retained in original frame. Very faint scuffs to surface.
