Description
American. 1950s. The Vendo Company is the world's largest manufacturer of cold beverage vending machines. This Vendo 44 machine was manufactured by Vendorlator Mfg. Co., Fresno, California for the Vendo Company. As one of the smaller Coca-Cola dispensers, this model would have originally been designed for smaller volume locations such as grocery stores or gas stations. While the company made vending machines for a variety of beverage companies, perhaps the best known are the machines made for the Coca-Cola Company. The Vendo 44, with its small size and classic 1950s looks, is one of the most sought-after dispensing machines. It is rare and hard to find, making it highly coveted by Coke and vending machine collectors alike. Marked, "Vendo", at lower right front of machine. Tagged, "The Vendo Company - Kansas City, Missouri", at back of machine. Marked, "The Vendo Company Kansas City", beneath coin slot. Various labels and decals throughout. All items are guaranteed authentic by Miller & Miller Auctions. All purchases are eligible for paid delivery to the Spring Dixie Gas & Oil Show on April 10-12 2025.
