English. Late 19th century. Walking stick with cast silver ball-shaped grip with leaf pattern. Marked "Lithgow" and "Sterling". Together with a sheet silver tipped example with chased floral pattern. Both with light coloured hardwood shafts and metal ferrules with short spiked tips. Marked, at base of head of spherical headed cane.

Balanced patina to each head. Example with spherical head has good original crazed surface to the lower half; upper half is heavily worn. The other example has some nicks and losses to the surface.
