Description
American. 1940s. Dick Tracy's Squad Car No. 1 is considered to be the most popular of the Dick Tracy toys. Dick Tracy began as an American comic strip, debuting in 1931 in the Detroit Mirror. The character was patterned after U.S. Federal prohibition agent Eliot Ness (yes a real person, who was known for his efforts to bring down Al Capone). This is a great toy that displays well and would be a great addition to any toy collection. Marked, "Marx Toys Made in the United States of America", on box and rear driver's side panel.
