Description
American. 1873-1879. Stamped, on top and side of barrel.
Condition
Barrel length is 28”, 44 calibre. The barrel shows minimal light pitting and retains traces of blue. The receiver and magazine show traces of blue in protected areas. The walnut stock and forend show contact marks. The elevation slide bar is missing from the sight and the sight will not maintain a vertical position. There is a small piece of metal missing from the end of the lever.
