German. C. 1920. An extremely rare toy depicting a racing team in blue and white uniforms on a light brown scull, made by Gunthermann, one of the elite German toy companies. This is a magnificent large toy that has the same synchronized rowing action as a real racing scull. In the toy genre, there were few rowing toys made. Collectors consider this to be not only rare but also in the exotic category of antique toys. Without question, this will be the centrepiece of any toy collection. Marked, "Germany", on side below the coxswain.

Excellent complete condition. Tested and working. Shows some age-related wear to the hull. Remains to be an impressive toy in size, lithography colour, and originality.
