American. 1920s. William Schieble was originally a partner in the D.P. Clark & Company until they had a falling out, at which time Schieble bought out Messr's Clark. The "hill climber" friction toys were a line of toys initiated by D.P. Clark and carried on by Schieble. This coupe represents one of that line of toys. Unmarked.
Condition
Fair condition. Tested and hill climbing gear does not activate correctly. Paint is flaking with some oxidation. Headlights required. Some impressions to roof.
