American. 1930s. Solid brass Half Mile Ray marine spotlight. Manufactured by the Portable Light Company of Kearny, New Jersey. Now mounted to a vintage wood and brass folding tripod. Light tilts up and down by rotating a hand-driven gear from beneath. Marked, "The Portable Light Co. Inc. Half Mile Ray #80", on top of light. Retains partial decal as well on top.

Light tilts up and down by rotating a hand-driven gear from beneath. Fully polished. Retains partial decal on top. Some pitting to the brass. Rewired and functional.
