Description
American. Early 20th Century. The early 20th century was a time of exploration and adventure. To commemorate various important ships or events, high-quality replica ship wheels would be produced as the demand was relatively high amongst collectors and enthusiasts. This example is no exception - it's made from high-quality hardwood and features a brass ring inlay with copper screws. It also includes a brass central hub. Stamped, "The 'Old Glory' of N.Y. 1907", in brass ring.
Condition
Very good condition. Central hub is loose. Original surface and patina to hardware. 2" section on the reverse side ring that has been cleaned.
