American. 1950s. Tom Corbett was a character from the Tom Corbett Space Cadet book series, who was depicted in radio, television and comics in the 1950s. Spaceship toys were highly sought after by children, who loved space-related toys almost as much as they loved Westerns. A great toy that displays well. Marked, "Marx Toys Made in United States of America New York, N.Y.", in trademark logo on nose of rocket ship.

Very good condition. Tested and working. Exhibits some light scratches in areas along the sides and slight paint loss primarily on the high points and wheels. Some very slight dents exist from the center towards the front along both sides. Needs a flint.
