Description
German. 1930s. Tipp & Co. was founded by Miss Tipp and Mr. Carstens, unusual for the fact that very few women were involved in the toy industry. The company was known for their high-quality and realistic toys. A great display piece. Marked, with Tipp & Co. logo at front of sidecar and both sides of gas tank. Marked, "Made in Germany", below driver's left foot. Marked, "Dunlop Cord", on wheels.
Condition
Very good original condition. Excellent gloss colour. Shows some playwear with minor nicks and minor oxidation at lower left side. Tested and working.
