Japanese. 1950s. Many companies commissioned the production of a particular toy for distribution as a promotional item, in this case Rexall Drugs. Most promotional items were produced in Japan, where the cost per item was cheaper than having it made in North America. This is an odd marriage of toy trucks to promote a company that sells drugs. The nexus is thought-provoking. Marked, "Made in Japan", beneath three mountain alps on box. Marked, "S.S.S. Japan", on undersides of both.

Toys are in very good condition. Some scratches to all. Excellent glossy colour. Box is in very good condition, with excellent colour illustration and minor edgewear.
