Description
German. 1940s. Toys marked, "Made in U.S.-Zone Germany" evolved post WWII, when American authorities occupied certain controlled territories in Germany. In order for toys to be permitted to be sold and exported out of German territory, the marking, "Made in U.S.-Zone Germany" had to be included. Marked, with Arnold logo on gas tank. Marked, "Made in Germany U.S. Zone", on gas tank and on underside.
Condition
Very good condition. Tested and working. Headlight does not spark. Surface is excellent with excellent colour and gloss. Minor playwear and faint scuffs. Requires headlamp lens.
