Description
Japanese. 1950s. Yonezawa (also known as "Yone" or "Y") was Japan's largest post-war toy manufacturer. The company's logo is a Y within a 5 petal cherry blossom motif. The cherry blossom was used as it symbolized both life and death, the sense of vitality and the reminder that life is fleeting - all very predominant in Japanese culture. Marked, with Yonezawa trademark logo and "Made in Japan", on rear license plate.

Oxidation on chrome, particularly around windshield. Steering is slightly stiff. Battery compartment on remote is clean with original paper insert.
