Mid 20th century. This impressive carving of a beaver, created by an unknown artist, showcases a simple yet elegant form. The signature appears to read "Bene Mchaun," though it is somewhat difficult to decipher. Carved from a single piece of material. There is a hole in the hand which probably would have held a stick.

Hole in the bottom for mounting. Minor age cracks. Good overall condition.
