ARTIST
Jean-Claude Labrecque (born 1953) is a sculptor based in Vallée-Jonction, Québec. He carves both wild and domestic birds and animals, as well as people in daily situations. His sculptures are made from pine and are always painted with acrylic colours. Except for some early work, all of his work is signed on the base, dated, and sometimes numbered.
