Digby, Nova Scotia. Last quarter 20th century. An almost humorous, staring brown owl with long legs, by Donald Lewis. Carved and painted wood with glass eyes, mounted on a sympathetically shaped piece of driftwood that has naturally cracked with age. Signed, "Don Lewis, Digby Co, Nova Scotia" on bottom. Assigned, number #742.

Excellent original condition. Paint is strong and stable.
