An attractive and evocative winter scene depicting logs being hauled towards a typical Quebec homestead, featuring a fine yellow house, red and green barns, and majestic hills in the background, all bathed in winter's light. Created by an undocumented but talented amateur artist. Signed, "R. Langlais", front lower right.

Good overall condition. Canvas has no repairs. Minor rubbing on the frame.
