A Canada Goose decoy in a feeding position with a sculpted tail and in strong original paint by William Roy Mill, Prince Edward Island. Mill originated the 3 large spike legs form and is the most well-known of the P.E.I. commercial carvers. Mill started making decoys in 1934. 3rd quarter, 20th century.

Very good condition. Age cracks on neck (stable) and on the body as often seen on Mill's geese.
