A wooden frame candle lantern with a removable tin chimney cover and candle tray. The door is affixed with snipe hinges and the top has a wire handle. Good patina and condition. Probably New England, early 19th century.
Condition
A contemporary drilled hole in the base was likely to run an electric wire.
