Description
Painting of the schooner General Rawlinson flying the Red Ensign showing its white hull against a grey sky and blue sea. Gouache on paper, very good condition, in original frame. Lettered in white across the bottom "General Rawlinson -- James Harris Master". Sir Henry Rawlinson was Lieutenant General at the WWI Battle of the Somme in 1916. Newfoundland, circa 1920.
