Oval splint box in olive green paint with a black painted floral motif on the top and lapped joints stitched with spruce root. A few original wood pegs remain accompanied by later nailed reinforcements. Early 19th century.

Very good condition with expected shrinkage to the top and minor edge damage along the bottom.
