Description
Ontario. 1860s-1870s. A great form and glaze with this crock with its flared rim and the way it tapers towards the bottom. Heavy crazing adds to its appeal. Opinions vary on attribution but lean towards Markham Pottery.
Condition
Crack from rim extending down 4" and a Y-shaped crack at base directly below that. The brown spots appear to be a sticky residue.
