Description
Brantford, Ontario. 1856-1857. A lovely and stately example from the brief partnership between Justus Morton and businessman Adolphus Bennett, in the early period of the important Brantford stoneware factory. Stamped, "Morton & Bennett / Brantford. C.W. / 3".
Condition
Excellent condition. A 3/4" wide remnant of kiln furniture (clay) adhered to lower portion of left flower (in-manufacture).
Medium
Salt-glazed stoneware.
