Mainly German and American. 1930s-1950s. The term "notions" as in "sewing notions" refers to small, known items that are essential for sewing, such as measuring tapes, pincushions, and scissors. This is a diverse lot of notions, some quirky- like the long-billed, long-legged curlew adapted as a pair of scissors, while others are cute and unusual- and all very hard to find. Lot consists of 1 pair of scissors, 6 pin cushions, and 15 measuring tapes. Marked, on undersides of some.

Overall good condition. Some tarnishing to the metal. Shows some usewear with some surface loss. 1 mouse, the pigs and the cat measuring tapes do not fully retract.
