American. 1900s. Two exceptional Dr. A.C. Daniels Gall Salve and Gall Cura tins. These mark the transitional period when the company was forced change "Cura" to "Salve. The Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906 banned the use of "cure" in advertising. The "Cura" portion of the name was eventually entirely replaced with "Salve".Boston, Mass.
Condition
Very good condition. Edge loss to bottom and minor chips throughout. Stain on front of tin from label. NOS.
