American. Circa 1910. This Dr. A.C. Daniels Gall Salve (Gall Cura) tin marks the transitional period when the company was forced change "Cura" to "Salve. The Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906 banned the use of "cure" in advertising. The "Cura" portion of the name was eventually entirely replaced with "Salve". Marked, "A C Co 10-A 0iii", on back. Marked, "Boston, USA and Knowlton P.O." lower edge.

Excellent condition. Minor chips to edges and bottom side.
