Description
A Bison or Buffalo Advertising Ashtray for the Calgary Brewing Company made and signed by J. Fuller for Medalta. This rare and unique piece of Canadiana pottery was used to advertise for the Calgary Brewing Company around 1935. It was designed by J. Fuller and reproduced by Medalta in Medicine Hat, Alberta. His signature can be found on the head of the bison, with the 1892 Calgary Brewing Company logo of a horseshoe and steer head at the front of the ashtray. Signed, "J. Fuller," by head of bison. Marked, Calgary Brewing Company Logo and 1892, on front.
