Description
Canadian. 1939-1950. Wagner Electric was founded in 1891 in St. Louis, where they made motors and electrical equipment. They had a Canadian branch with the factory located in downtown Toronto. During WWII the company relocated to Leaside (a subdivision of Toronto). This stamp would have been screwed into a metal bar which would have been used as a heavy press to brand their products.
