Description
Canadian. Late 1800s-early 1900s. While the scratched in lettering on the reverse of the clock, namely "SS Bluebell", cannot be relied upon, the fact that J. Morrison was a brass manufacturing company that operated in Toronto and the S.S. Bluebell was a Toronto ferry that operated out of the Toronto docks during the 1920s may be related or may be purely coincidental. Marked, "J. Morrison Maker Toronto", on dial of clock. Marked, "SS Bluebell", scratched into the reverse side of the clock.
