German. 1940s. Toys are marked "U.S.-Zone Germany". Post-war German manufacturers were banned from exporting goods. Americans occupying the territories permitted the sale and export of toys so long as they were marked "Made in U.S. Zone Germany". This marking was used from the mid to late 1940s. Marked, on sides and rear panels of garages. Marked, on bumpers, grilles, and undersides of cars. Marked, 'Made in U.S.-Zone Germany", on garages and cars.

Garages in excellent condition with one telephone missing parts from handle. Blue car has areas of oxidation on sides and minor scuffs on hood. Green car has minor scuffs on car surface and areas of paint loss on underside. Cars tested and working. Car hoods open.
