German. 1940s. The toy is marked "U.S.-Zone Germany". Post-war German manufacturers were banned from exporting goods. Americans occupying the territories permitted the sale and export of toys so long as they were marked "Made in U.S. Zone Germany". This marking was used from the mid to late 1940s. Marked on box, sides of bike, wheels, and underside of bike.
Condition
Toy in excellent condition. Tested and working. Original box in excellent condition.
