Nova Scotia. C. 2000. Jim Forbes used various materials to create this impressive folk art carving. This piece shows a three dimensional body made of wood, with glass eyes and sheet metal wings and tail. The crest and wattles are of painted leather. Mounted to a hardwood base. Stamped "J. Forbes N.S." on side of base.
