Kerras Jeffery was a folk artist from Prince Edward Island. He produced whacky, fun, iconoclastic works including double-headed pig carvings, King Tut masks, a Canadian Mountie beaver, and a bear sculpture that guarded his back door. He was known for his creative, playful spirit. For example, he once took an old gun that had lost its value, carved a moose, put it on the end and called it a 'moose gun'. He made the Guinness Book of World Records for building the world's largest egg beater in 2005. With an exhibition in Calgary and a website, Jeffery's sculptures have been sold across Canada and beyond. His commissioned work includes pieces created for Kingsbridge Garden, St. Andrews, New Brunswick.

Alma, Prince Edward Island. C. 2000. Kerras Jeffery liked to combine scraps of wood with metal along with imagination. The car is a re-purposed toy made by Nylint Toys, with Kerras' carving of a dog chauffeuring cats. Signed "Kerras Jeffery" on underside of car.
