Hagersville, Ontario. 1986. Fine example of Steve Smith "Talking Earth Pottery" of the Six Nations Reservation . The surface with extensive incised decoration and with figures of a bear, bear tracks, woodland flowers and geometric designs. Signed on base "Talking Earth STS 86 8-915". Includes a scroll from the artist with description of symbolisms in the piece.
