Description
A pair of bluebill decoys in original paint by the Burleigh Brothers (Ashbridge's Bay) Toronto. The Burleigh Brothers were considered among the finest decoy carvers in Canada in the 1920-40 period.
Condition
The drake is heavily worn original paint, grain separation on bill and underside of head as well as tight check in breast area. In overall good condition. The hen has very good original paint with light gunning wear. The head and neck joint have been glued. In overall excellent structural condition.
