Description
Circa 1910. An early Canvasback decoy by J. R. Wells (1861-1953). Wells was a well known sportsman and carver on the Toronto waterfront.
Condition
Old gunning repaint that has been partially removed. Classic form, hollow body with heavy wear to the paint and holes have been drilled in the bottom.
