This 1968 Chevelle SS convertible contains the coveted 396 CID 350 HP 4bbl Turbo Jet V8 engine. It was Howie's pride and joy. It was produced at the Oshawa plant and sold new in Port Hope, Ontario, Canada by R.E. Sculthorpe Ltd (GM Canada Vintage Vehicles documented). This model (13867) is one of only 108 produced for sale in Canada. It retains its original black vinyl bench seats. It has a 4-speed manual wide-ratio transmission and power steering. Other features included with this model are a folding top power lift, body side accent stripe (decal kit included but not applied), heavy-duty front and rear suspension, rear axle positraction, tachometer and clock, and rear auxiliary speaker. It was upgraded with an Aurora design BT-2 Bluetooth stereo. Engine was rebuilt in 2016. The engine was installed and dynoed in 2017. Gardner exhaust system installed in 2016.
