Canadian. 1950s. Manufactured in Orillia, Ontario by Otaco (Orillia Tudhope Anderson Company). Private label trucks were a Minnitoys specialty. Minnitoys were created primarily for the post-war 'baby boom' market. They were large. sturdy and strong enough to accommodate a small child's weight. This is the French version with the word gas spelled "GAZ" on the rear decal. Marked on doors of cab. Wheels are marked "Minitoy" (with only one 'n'). The error was never corrected.

Complete and untouched original. Some losses on decals. Surface scratches. Minor dings/impressions on the top and lower portion of tanker. Displays well.
