Canadian. Late 20th century. A pleasing carving of a standing bear with subtle overall texturing to suggest the fur. The figure is either a Polar or Grizzly bear. The lack of colouring suggests a Polar bear. The piece is mounted to a base made from a section of a varnished log. Monogrammed, "G McD", under base.
