ARTIST
Craig Naugler (born 1973) is a sculptor and woodcarver from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, with a career dating back to the 1990s. He is the son of the accomplished folk artist Bradford Naugler, but Craig Naugler has carved a unique artistic path of his own. While Craig Naugler is currently not creating art due to a back injury, his works continue to be sought after by folk art collectors.

Description
Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. C. 1990. This "chunky" take on the traditional Nova Scotian oxen is by Craig Naugler. The chip-carved beast is painted in chocolate brown with white spots. Hooves and nose are painted in an unusual bright orange. Craig is the son of noted Nova Scotia artist Bradford Naugler; an artist in his own right. Signed, "Craig Naugler", underneath.
