Brantford, Ontario. C. 1980. Steve Sutch creates a well-detailed and colourfully painted carving of a fully bearded man smoking a pipe and dressed in a bright striped shirt and striped pants. He sits in a boxed wagon painted dark green with red and yellow highlights, along with a black and white cow in the back. The wagon is being pulled by a two-horse cream-coloured team. Other details are the team's tack, reins and rope in found materials. The carving sits on a plain wood base framed in black. Signed, "made by S. Sutch", on top front of base.
