Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. C. 1980. A smaller scale work by folk artist Collins Eisenhauer; one of many that very rarely come to market. Here is a carving of an owl, painted white with yellow and black eyes and black legs and feet. The owl is perched on a natural tree branch in black and mounted to a rectangular black-painted pine base also made by the artist's hand. Signed, "Collins Eisenhauer", on bottom of base.

Very good condition.
