Canadian. Fourth-quarter 20th century. An interesting folk art carving of a deer that also resembles a giraffe with a long neck. The body is painted in white with brown spots throughout. The legs and tail are formed from sticks, and the head and neck are carved from a naturally curved branch attached to a plain green base. The piece is unsigned.
