Description
Digby, Nova Scotia. 1975. A naive folksy parlour scene with the Holy Bible shows temptation being held at bay. What appears to be a man dressed in sombre grey is keeping a wolf from the front door. Other figures are similarly dressed and seated in a beamed room with grey walls and wood floors. A pot-bellied stove takes centre stage in this whimsical scene. Signed, "F. Trask", bottom front left. Dated, "75".
